Hand-sewn stories.
Textile art rooted in tradition and reimagined through touch.
Created by neo-traditional artist Sahar.
Every piece is hand-stitched, embroidered, and made by one pair of hands.
Built on sustainable values, using reused and recycled materials.
“DastDooz” (Persian: دستدوز) translates to hand-sewn. The name itself carries the essence of the brand — a celebration of making, craft, and the beauty of slow creation.
The story
DaastDooz began not from fashion, but from a love of making. Sahar’s fascination with fabric, color, and texture started long before she ever called herself a designer. Cutting, stitching, and experimenting became a language — a way to translate emotion and memory into tangible form.
Textiles offered what graphic design could not: movement, texture, and the unpredictable beauty of handwork. Each creation carries this tactile honesty — imperfect, expressive, alive.
From her studio in the Netherlands, Sahar designs and stitches every piece herself. It’s a woman-led practice built on patience, intuition, and sustainability, where each material is repurposed and every thread has history.
DaastDooz is not just handmade clothing; it is a record of time, intention, and care — a quiet dialogue between tradition and the contemporary self.
