NowNook Founding Creator Agreement

Version 1.1 — Early Access Edition

Disclaimer:

This agreement applies only to Founding Creators during NowNook’s early access phase.
As we finalise platform features, updates may occur — and any changes will always be shared in advance for review.

1. Parties

This agreement is between:

NowNook Ltd, A company registered in England & Wales (“NowNook”, “we”, “us”)

and

You, the Creator (“you”)

Agreement is activated only when you tick accept via the onboarding portal.

2. What NowNook Provides

NowNook is a curated discovery platform for limited-edition, story-led products. As a Founding Creator, you receive:

  • Story-led feature & profile on NowNook

  • Visibility across selected marketing campaigns

  • Early access to drop opportunities

  • Curation & storytelling support

  • Traffic referral to your product pages via smart tracking

3. Commission & Payments

During Beta (Early Access):

  • 0% commission — creators retain 100% of earnings

After Public Launch:

NowNook earns a 20% commission only when:

  • A buyer discovers you through NowNook.

  • They purchase via your linked storefront.

  • The order is successfully completed.

We do not charge commission:

  • 🚫 For traffic, views, or clicks.

  • 🚫 If a sale doesn’t originate from NowNook.

  • 🚫 For cancelled or returned orders.

Payment method: affiliate/referral tracking.
NowNook does not process payments during early access.

4. Intellectual Property

You retain 100% ownership of:

  • Your brand.

  • Your products.

  • Your visual & written creative assets.

You grant NowNook a non-exclusive licence to use your submitted content solely for:

  • Promotion.

  • Storytelling.

  • Platform display.

Term: 12 months from upload.

We will never:

  • Claim ownership.

  • Re-sell or repurpose your content outside NowNook.

5. Customer Responsibility

You remain responsible for:

  • Fulfilment + shipping

  • Customer service

  • Returns & refunds

  • Lost order replacements

NowNook does not hold stock or manage logistics.

6. Exclusivity

No exclusivity required.

You may continue to:

  • Sell anywhere else

  • Set prices and promotions freely

  • Work with other platforms

If a temporary exclusive drop is ever requested:

  • It must be mutually agreed

  • Product-specific

  • Limited to a set timeframe

7. Leaving the Platform

You may leave anytime with 14 days’ notice. We will remove your profile and deactivate tracking.

We may remove creators if there is:

  • Proven IP infringement

  • Fraudulent or harmful conduct

  • Breach of consumer rights

No penalties or lock-ins.

8. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential:

  • Business plans

  • Pricing & payout information

  • Technology & internal processes

  • Private communications

9. Term & Founding Benefits

Effective immediately upon acceptance. Continues until terminated by either party.

Founding Creator benefits include:

  • Priority curation and promotion during first 6 months after launch

10. Governing Law

This agreement is governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any disputes fall under UK jurisdiction.

By ticking the box during onboarding, you confirm:

“I have read and agree to the NowNook Founding Creator Agreement.”

Do I pay anything to join?

No. Joining is free for Founding Creators.

Do I keep full creative ownership?

Yes, always.

Do I have to ship orders or handle customers?

Yes. You retain full merchant control.

Do I have to list all my products?

No. Only the ones you’d like to drop.

What if I later want to leave?

You can leave anytime, no penalties.

Will my content be used outside NowNook?

No. Only on our platform + channels and only for marketing your work.
