1. Overview

NowNook is a curated cultural commerce platform that connects creators, designers, and brands with culturally engaged audiences. 

These Beta Seller Terms outline how approved sellers (“Creators”) participate in NowNook during our early access phase.

2. Beta Model

During the beta phase: 

• There are no listing fees or commissions. 

• Creators retain 100% of earnings from sales made via their linked channels or affiliate links. 

• NowNook reserves the right to select and onboard sellers based on creative fit and product quality. 

• The platform is in development — features and systems may change or be updated without notice. 

3. Ownership & Content

• Creators retain full ownership of their designs, products, and content.

• By joining NowNook, Creators grant NowNook a non-exclusive right to feature, promote, and share submitted visuals, text, and content across NowNook’s app, website, and social channels for promotional purposes. 

• Creators are responsible for ensuring all submitted materials are original and do not infringe third-party rights.

4. Sales & Fulfilment 

• All transactions and fulfilment are managed directly by the Creator or their nominated brand. 

• Creators are responsible for delivering products, handling returns, refunds, and customer service. 

• NowNook acts as a discovery and storytelling platform and is not the merchant of record. 

5. Payments 

• During beta, payments are managed either via affiliate tracking or direct arrangement between Creator and buyer. 

• NowNook does not currently process transactions or hold customer funds.

6. Conduct & Quality

• All products listed on NowNook must meet high creative, ethical, and quality standards. 

• Counterfeit, copied, or misleading listings will be removed immediately.

• NowNook reserves the right to suspend or terminate any Creator’s participation at its discretion.

7. Termination

• Either party may end participation at any time by written notice (email accepted). 

• Upon termination, NowNook will remove the Creator’s profile and related content within 10 business days. 

8. Liability

• NowNook is not liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising from Creator transactions or third-party activities. 

• These terms create no employment, partnership, or agency relationship between NowNook and Creators.

9. Acceptance

By participating in the NowNook beta, the Creator acknowledges and agrees to these summary terms. 

A full Seller Agreement will be issued prior to NowNook’s public launch.
